Syncora is a discreet safety wearable paired with a companion app. The three forms—pendant, keychain and belt clip-on—give users different ways to carry the same SOS function.

Before the emergency.

Unsafe Spaces

I conceptualised a predictive feature to identify potentially high-risk areas, so users could avoid risk before it happens. This was part of the product concept, not a claim of validated predictive accuracy.

03

My part in the build.

As Co-CEO & CFO of a 16-member team, I worked across the product and its business model. I designed and coded most of the companion app’s UI in Flutter and Dart using AI-assisted design tools.

I also contributed to the wearable’s 3D design in Fusion 360, a tool I first learned while working on EchoShield.

Inside the shell.

The wearable was assembled from a compact board with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, Bluetooth connectivity, USB-C charging, an on-off switch and the SOS push button. An alert carried live voice recording and live location sharing to the app.

Listening beyond the pitch.

Visits to an elderly care home brought us into conversations with residents and caregivers. These were opportunities to listen to people whose needs differ from our own.
